hey whats up youtube in this video i show you how to repair a vinyl floor plank this is the click and lock style floor plank system and uh this piece was actually repaired or a repair was attempted and the seam just didnt go back together right so um ill be redoing it and this is one of the many reasons i really hate vinyl flooring but i will rant more on that later [Music] all right in this lineup i have a speed square a pencil some vinyl floor adhesive a rubber mallet a putty knife a razor knife and an oscillating saw youre also going to need a new piece of flooring a shop vac to clean up your mess and i used uh just some buckets in a bag of mud for weight to hold the new plank down after i glued it in place now you can also get one of these uh little wax crayons or a touch-up kit sometimes home depot lowes will have something like that in their wood stain section and its not 100 necessary but uh it does help hide the seam when you put these planks back together especially if th
