Tanya was one of my first interviewees and we were able to talk through Zoom. I think Tanyas was the longest interview I had. I think it was over an hour just because she had so much to say about all of her beadwork pieces and how much history that she has being Cree-Blackfoot and just kind of mixing all of her styles together. This one, this little beadwork part was my favourite because she talked very highly about her grandmother and I think this was a piece that her grandmother made so she kind of kept it as inspiration for like Blackfoot colours and designs. So its something that shes held on to for a very long time. Thats so nice. Even within the first and the second one you could see the difference with the florals and the geometric and the different uses of colour. This one was used for her fathers pipe bag, used for ceremonies and I believe both of these were meant to match one another for him. So this medallion was for Siksika Health Services.

The museum exhibition design process can be divided into five distinct phases: Concept Development. Schematic Design. Design Development. Final Design. Construction Documents.
Exhibitions can include many things such as art in both major museums and smaller galleries, interpretive exhibitions, natural history museums and history museums, and also varieties such as more commercially focused exhibitions and trade fairs.
The Exhibit Components An exhibit unit is made up of one or more of the following components: (1) exhibit objects; (2) com- munication (presentation) media; and (3) text in- formation to be communicated (involving the use of language). Does an exhibit unit have to include all three of these components?
Every museum exhibit should tell a story, rather than being a random assortment of displays. Whats the larger message you want to convey to visitors? Always design with the big picture in mind when youre planning a museum exhibition.
Objects are what make exhibits unique. They lend authenticity and presence to exhibits. Images provide visuals and illustrate ideas and concepts that may be difficult to explain in words. These include photos, maps, illustrations, charts, diagrams, etc.
An exhibit is an item that is shown off for the public, such as a painting on display at a gallery or a historical document shown under glass at a museum. The main thing to remember about an exhibit is that it refers to something presented formally and in a public setting.
Exhibit design (or exhibition design) is the process of developing an exhibitfrom a concept through to a physical, three-dimensional exhibition.
