Contact the recipient by some other means (by phone, for example) and ask them to tell their email admin that it appears that their domain isnt properly registered at their domain registrar. Give them the error details shown below. Its likely that the recipients email admin is the only one who can fix this problem.
Send replies to anyone outside my organization Select this option if you want automatic replies to be sent to anyone outside your organization. This includes people in your Contacts list.
Error 541: The recipient address rejected your message occurs when the recipients server declines an email. Reasons for this error could include the email appearing spam-like, a poor sending IP reputation, the IP being blocklisted, or a false positive by the servers spam filter.
External recipients are people with email addresses outside of your organization. These alerts help people avoid unintentional replies, and remind them to treat external messages with caution.
This error typically indicates a problem on the receiving server. Try these fixes: Make sure the recipient address is valid. Reduce the number of recipients in the message. If you received this error when sending a message using Outlook or another email app, try using Outlook.com to send the message instead.
Remember, email from within your organization might originate from services other than Office 365 (like Salesforce.com, or Constant Contact), so Outside the Organization likely means, not associated with any of your organizations domains regardless of where the message originates.
Email is considered to originate from outside your organization if the sender domain doesnt match one of Exchanges accepted domains. Accepted domains are any that are configured in Exchange as either authoritative or relay domains.
