I position shirt or paper on platten. tape a full-colour inkjet proof of the print onto shirt/paper. put screens onto press. bring each screen down over the proof, loosen clamps and align the registration marks you have on screens with the registration marks on the proof. Tighten screens in place.
When a misprint happens, the first step is determining whether the garment can be saved. Every shop should have a spot gun to eliminate stray spots of ink or stains. If there are pinholes in a print, you might be able to patch the holes by blending in some extra ink and re-curing the garment.
Draw a vertical line down the center of the platen and another about 4 from the middle line to the left. This helps align center and left chest prints easily. Vertical lines help align the shirt to the print. Horizontal lines do this too, but also help printers line the collar of the shirt up in the right place.
