[Music] hi my name is elvis rodriguez your project management coach and in todays lesson im going to share three of my favorite tips on how to create status reports for executives who dont have a lot of time to spend with you and going through lots of details also i want to encourage you to hang around toward the end of this video because im gonna show you five formats that you can use in these situations all right lets go okay i promised you three tips so heres the first one add the definition of status reports to the requirements phase of your project heres what i mean by that every project has a requirements gathering process that occurs at the beginning of the project during this phase we gather functional and non-functional requirements and key stakeholders are part of this process so theres never going to be a better time to speak with them about their reporting needs even though status reports are not an official part of requirements gathering on my projects i include th
