logos that use negative space need a different approach when inverting them especially logos depicting people or animals in this example our logo is made up of highlights and shadows but what happens if we invert it we can see now that the logo no longer has to correct highlights and shadows which makes it difficult to see our logo so how do you fix this here Iamp;#39;ve added in some guides to help me and so Iamp;#39;m going to start by selecting my logo and clicking the shape Builder tool and then Iamp;#39;m going to make everything a solid shape we can work with now we can simply delete the original inverted logo so just our highlights are left this is where our guides come in handy as we have lost the edges which Define our logo so with everything selected we can just fill in this outline following our guides to complete our logo our final logo now has the correct highlights and shadows and you can see the difference it makes in this before and after letamp;#39;s take a look at
