As an enrolled UTS student, you receive a UTS Student ID number linked with a UTS e-mail address and a number of key UTS systems. This account will be your account from the day you enrol until the day you graduate from UTS. It provides you easy access to various UTS systems that will assist you throughout your studies.
The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs sends all students that may have violated the Student Code of Conduct an official letter informing the student of his/her alleged violation(s) and to attend a Student Rights Information Session.
This 6-digit number can be found in the upper left -and corner of your time sheet. It is labeled “EmplID”. The Student ID Number starts with the “@” sign and is followed by eight digits. The number is posted in SURFS next to your name when you are registering for classes.
Answer. Faculty, staff, students, sponsored affiliates and associates have a user ID known as Directory ID. This is the alphanumeric ID of up to eight characters obtained/created at account activation. The University Identification (UID) is the nine digit number typically found on the front of your University ID card.

After applying to the school and paying your application fee, you will be assigned a student ID number to be used for placement tests, registration, and exams. You may find this number on your bill, on your schedule, in your Owl Link, and in your PGCC Navigate account.
Log on to the University Directory. Click on SEARCH FOR YOUR UNIVERSITY DIRECTORY ENTRY BY UMID/SID & PIN. Enter your social security number (student or faculty ID) and your pin number.
Be of passport photo quality and standard You must submit an original and current unaltered photo (Note: a fee will be charged if your ID card needs to be re-issued due to an altered image) Be sharp and in focus. Clear, even lighting (no dark shadows or reflections) Have a plain, light or white-coloured background.
Visiting hours The public levels of the building are open to members of the public from 8am to 10pm on weekdays and 8am to 6 pm on weekends. Entry is via Ultimo Road or Mary Ann Street.
A replacement student identification card may be obtained for a $10.00 fee.
