thank you uh very much and uh hello everyone my name is uh richard morley and um im the cochran consumer engagement officer and i work in cochranes central executive team in its people services department and its my privilege to work with patients carers members of the public that cochran calls healthcare consumers people who both use our evidence and also help us to create it and and spread it in a variety of ways and one of the things that i do is i work with a community of um well eighteen hundred people around the world uh across eighty countries and uh who are are kind of engaged volunteers and so um im going to talk about how we ran a survey of that group as part of our evaluation of of our existing work and planning our future uh priorities and programs um uh i i want to just stress at the beginning of this presentation that im not a methodological expert on surveys im not a qualitative researcher and i know this is a topic you know that people spend in our lifetime study
