do you need to email a copy of your document but dont want to load up gmail you can email your document as an attachment from within google docs helping you save time and control access to your work to find the feature just click file then email as attachment from here youre essentially sending an email with your gmail account you can enter an email address create a subject line and write a message click the drop down menu in the bottom left to choose the file type for your attachment if you select the dont attach check box you can even include your document within the body of the email this may help if the recipient cant open certain files when your email is ready click send you dont need to share the document with anyone or change the permissions in order to use this feature it only sends a static copy of your document to the recipient it does not give them access to the google doc itself its worth noting that when you send your document with google docs the email it generates

To edit a document: On your computer, open a document in Google Docs. To select a word, double-click it or use your cursor to select the text you want to change. Start editing. To undo or redo an action, at the top, click Undo. or Redo. .
Allow anyone with a link to edit your document You can set the visibility so that anyone who has a direct link can either view or edit your document. To change the settings, open your document and click Share on the top right. Under the section titled Specific people can access, click Change.
If you have been facing text formatting issues in Google Docs, youre not alone. Several users have been reporting this issue on various forums, and Ive been facing this issue myself, too. Now, it turns out this is being caused by a conflict with ad blockers and page script blocking extensions.
That spacing is happening because the text is justified and because Docs doesnt currently support automatic hyphenation. You could try changing the alignment from justify to left align.
Line and paragraph spacing Select the text you want to format. Click the Line spacing button, then select the desired line spacing option from the drop-down menu. You can also click Custom spacing to fine-tune the spacing. The line spacing will adjust in the document.
Share collaborate on a file with many people. At any time, a Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides file can only be edited on up to 100 open tabs or devices. If there are more than 100 instances of the file open, only the owner and some users with editing permissions can edit the file.

Work with email drafts on Google Docs On your computer, open a Google Doc. At the top left, click Insert Building blocks Email draft. You can also type @email in the doc and press Enter.
To email a doc directly from Google Docs: Click File Email as attachment. From here, youre essentially sending an email from the Gmail account that you are signed in as. Click the drop-down menu in the bottom-left to choose the file type for your attachment.
