Pic can be used in a man page, terminal, x buffer, PDF, or with Tex. The focus is on the original Unix implementation of Pic, even though the speaker will be using the canoe implementation. When using Pic with graph or trough, start with a .ps file and end with a .pe file. This applies to Unix Pic as well.
