hi my name is aimy magani I work for progression technologies welcome to our one-minute tech tip video series today Im going to show you how to display your file path or your file location on your drawing so a lot of times youre working with printed drawing sheets some uncontrolled documents and someone wants to know hey where is this file stored I need to make a change so a nice way to do that is just display the file path just outside the title block so were gonna right click on our drawing sheet and make sure you dont right-click on a drawing view just right-click on a drawing sheet and go to edit sheet format and Im gonna go to the annotations tab and click on note and just throw it on there you dont want a leader okay and then youll go to the custom properties button here and choose the radio button for current document and youll choose the drop-down for SolidWorks folder name that is actually the path so folder name is what you want click OK and then click outside of tha
