18 tips to improve your drawing skills Draw simple things around you. Start with drawing ordinary and simple things. Challenge yourself daily, work hard. Observe! Know where the light comes from. Emulate and implement. Use references. Take drawing classes. Maintain a sketchbook.
The best way to start is to plan your schedule, organize what youll be drawing during that time, and just start. Go for an hour and make sure you can do that for 30-60 days straight. Then slowly increase whenever you have extra time and gauge your progress.
