im mark callaway ac application engineer for mana machine today im going to show you how you can recover a drawing thats become corrupt in autocad in this example i have a dwg which potentially has become corrupt i am unable to open so first im going to do is launch autocad and start a blank drawing now that i am inside autocad i have the command line using the command line im going to type in the word recover this is going to give me this window this will allow me to select the file that i want autocad to attempt to recover whilst opening i can see here the autocad example dwg that i have on my desktop selecting that file im now going to click open autocad has detected errors within this file its found eight altogether have been fixed i now have access to my once corrupted autocad file all that is left is to save the file in its fixed state thank you for watching
