Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own fillable form using Microsoft Word. First off, what is a fillable form? You can have people go in and fill out a form, but they wonamp;#39;t be able to edit the questions or the structure of the form. You can use things like check boxes, text fields, drop down lists, date pickers, to build your form. Once someoneamp;#39;s finished completing your form, they can e-mail it back, they could print it out, or you could even connect it to a database. Connecting to a database is outside of the scope of todayamp;#39;s tutorial. Itamp;#39;s kind of like an docHub PDF form, but itamp;#39;s Microsoftamp;#39;s version of it. Find and replace basic text , type the word or phrase that you want to find, and Word will highlight all instances of the word or phrase throughout the document. To replace found text: Select the magnifying glass, and then select Replace.
Click anywhere in the text. On the Format menu, point to AutoFit Text, and do one of the following: To reduce the point size of text until there is no text in overflow, click Shrink Text On Overflow. To shrink or expand text to fit in the text box when you resize the box, click Best Fit.

If you open your Downloaded Word Template and are unable to edit, this generally means that you are in Protected View. To edit the template, select Enable Editing at the top of your word document. Once you select this option you can now edit your template.
In Microsoft Word, there is an alignment button at the top left corner of the screen. Instead of using the space bar to align text in the document, click the alignment button to get the desired tab/indent, and then click where the tab/indent should be on the ruler.
To update your template, open the file, make the changes you want, and then save the template. On the File tab, select Open. Double-click This PC. Browse to the Custom Office Templates folder under My Documents. Choose your template, and select Open. Make the changes you want, then save and close the template.
Select the text that you want to center. in the Page Setup group, and then click the Layout tab. In the Vertical alignment box, click Center. In the Apply to box, click Selected text, and then click OK.
