Steps to create a report with dynamic columns Determine the maximum number of columns the report page can handle. Create a string parameter for every attribute column on the report. Open Note Pad (on your desktop under accessories). Edit each parameter created in step 2 and do the following:
Right click on the field go to format field--go to number tab --click on customize--then in Decimal select 1.0.
In the crystal report designer view: Right mouse click on that field, and select Format object . Select Custom Style in the Style list, and click Customize . Untick Thousands Separator , and any other unwanted formatting.
In R, we can do this by just using the code options(OutDec=,). Once we will type this in R console, all the numerical values with decimals will be printed with commas in place of dots.
First, select the cells to which youd like to add separator commas. Click on the Home tab in the toolbar and locate the Numbers section. Below the drop-down menu, there are a few options for adding symbols to your workbook. Click the comma icon to insert separator commas to the selected cells.
Right click on the report field and choose Formal Field. Go to the Number tab and click Customize. Click on the Formula button next to Decimals: Enter the formula that determines how many decimal places to use the result of the formula will be the number of decimal places the report will use.
