so I have my file open in Visual Studio code but when I try to run it I get this message it says code language not supported or defined so why did it happen and what does it mean so there are basically two main reasons for it to happen the first one is that the extension of your file is wrong so wrong how so to understand it lets open the file in the Windows File Explorer to do that Im going to right click on the name of the file over here on the top and then Im going to choose reveal in file explorer over here now at first glance it seems that this file is okay right I mean it has a name hello world and then it has an extension dot py which is the extension for python files and python is the language Im trying to use so it should work shouldnt it well not exactly you see by default Windows hides the extensions for known file types so in reality even though it seems that the extension of this file is dot py its not the real extension if you want Windows to show their real extensi
