so a common problem is having commas in your comma delimited data and you donamp;#39;t want that because itamp;#39;s going to separate the value into two different columns so if we look here we have Alabama Power code separated by a comma we want this to be all one column so all you have to do is put quotation marks around the value just like that and then when you go to do text to columns it will put it all in one column and Iamp;#39;ll show you that in a second so control space and then alt a e to bring up this menu and then go to the next and then scroll over here and we can see itamp;#39;s all in one column and let me show the finished result here itamp;#39;s probably easier to add the quotations in whatever third-party software youamp;#39;re getting your data from instead of doing it manually in Excel

Incorrect Delimiters: Errors occur when the delimiter in the CSV file doesnt match the expected delimiter of the importing system. Fix: Ensure the delimiter used (comma, semicolon, etc.) matches the systems requirements. You can often specify the delimiter during the import process.
One of the most common CSV import errors is that the file is simply too large. That can be caused by too many fields or records in the file, too many columns, or too many rows. The import error can be caused by limits set by the program using the file or the amount of available memory on the system.
How to Remove Line Breaks in an Excel/CSV File? Open the Find/Replace command window (press Ctrl+H). In the Find what box, place your cursor. Press and hold the Alt key and then enter 010 from your keyboards 10-keypad part. In the Replace with box, put your cursor. Then, click Replace All.
Resolution Open the CSV in Notepad. (Dont use Excel to open the CSV file because the quotation marks may not be visible in Excel). On the Edit menu, select Replace. In the Find what box, type , leave the Replace with box blank, and then select Replace All. Note. Save the file, and then import it to Microsoft 365.
Under the Data tab, navigate to Get External Data From Text. In the pop-up window that opens, select the CSV file you downloaded. Click Get Data. From the File origin: drop-down menu, select Unicode (UTF-8).
Make sure they are enclosed in quotation marks. Check the file for extra spaces between delimiters, at the end of lines, etc. Check for extra columns or blank lines.
Determine and fix errors in the CSV file On the Operation Results page, click Errors in the Action column. Click Open. Using the Comment column in the error file (the first column displayed), identify the errors that have occurred. Open the original CSV file, correct the errors, and save your changes.
