Adjust automatic page breaks On the Format menu, select Paragraph, and then select the Line and Page Breaks tab. Clear the Keep lines together, Keep with next, and Page break before check boxes.

Select the lines that you want to keep together. On the Format menu, click Paragraph, and then click the Line and Page Breaks tab. Select the Keep lines together check box.
Preventing text from being hyphenated On the Home tab, expand the Paragraph group. In the Paragraph dialog box, select the Line and Page Breaks tab. Under Formatting exceptions, select the Dont hyphenate check box.
By default, Pages automatically hyphenates words if they need to break at the end of a line. Here are ways to turn hyphenation on or off: To turn hyphenation on or off for the entire document, click Inspector in the toolbar, click the Document button, and then select or deselect Hyphenate (in the Document pane).
Add or remove hyphens in specific paragraphs Click the paragraph or select multiple paragraphs. In the Format sidebar, click the More button near the top. In the Hyphenation Ligatures section of the sidebar, select or deselect the Remove paragraph hyphenation tickbox.
