hey guys so Im going to show you how to add a division symbol to a Google Doc and this can also be applied to slides okay so first what you want to do is start typing your division problem so say were doing 12 divided by 3 so Im going to type 12 and then Im going to put a space after 12 and then Im going to go to insert special characters then Im going to type division and theres a few options but I like to use this small one here once you click it it will insert into your doc so then you exit out of this screen and there it is then youre going to put another space so 12 divided by 3 and then you can press the equal sign on your keyboard and the 4 and thats how you add a division symbol ok you can also copy and paste the division symbol whenever you need to so say were doing 24 light control C control V divided by 8 equals 3 then you can keep doing that over and over again whenever you need a division symbol
