hi my names Gordon from gimme oh and today were going to talk about how to fix blurry pixelated or fuzzy email signature images now this generally happens because of scaling and what I mean by scaling is a lot of the new-age devices are you know iPhones Androids and even some laptops and desktops use scaling and what that means is basically maybe because the resolutions of the displays are so high they need a zoom in on the you know on the platform like the operating system in order for it to be visible by people thats basically what it is now with scaling if you scale a you know if you scale in on a vector based image which has basically unlimited amount of pixels itll always look crisp and clear but if you scale in on a raster based image which has a set amount of pixels what you end up with is something like this where the image in the email signature actually turns to be blurry and see where it started from and then inside and the same thing with the pixelated they just end up

The quickest way to fix this is to use a higher resolution image in your email signature, and scale the image down using the HTML height and width attributes. For example, if the resolution of your image is 360 x 360 pixels, you should use 1/3 of that resolution in the height and width attributes.
Email signature size dimensions The ideal image size for email signatures should be 300 to 400 pixels wide and 70 to 100 pixels high.
If you want to use colour to add contrast to your email, size your email signature banner between 600-700px to fill the width of an email. There are fewer restrictions on your email signature banners height; a typical height used is between 150-200px.

Email signature size dimensions The optimum dimensions of an email signature should be around 300600 px wide and 150200 px high. While the width is limited by the size of the screen the signature is viewed on, there are no technical limits to height.
Use a scanner to create a high-resolution scan of your signature, if your scanner has the option, set for maximum dots per inch, often abbreviated as DPI. In the scanning software, crop the image to remove the excess white space. Save the resulting image as a PNG or JPG file.
Email signature size dimensions The ideal image size for email signatures should be 300 to 400 pixels wide and 70 to 100 pixels high. If the image is a banner, we recommend a maximum height of 100 pixels. The image should also be optimized for a web resolution of 72dpi, so it displays correctly.
