all right whats going on guys todays video i think um ive got a lot to do today but im going to show the process of finishing some micarta scales this one is uh fire hose micarta this ones that mexican blanket my tarta from gl hands in the sun so um im gonna get right into it basically i start with uh on the grinder with a 36 grit belt um and i basically get it to the desired thickness get it down to the steel and i even shape do some contouring with that 36 grit belt as well so im going to show it a little bit probably um i run it really slow maybe on you know 25 power or something like that um and it just seems to make the belt last a little bit longer because this micarta compared to a lot of woods or g10s or you know hybrid materials it its a lot harder to work um than a lot of that so and this one i got a little bit of epoxy that seeped down onto this part of the knife that i didnt want to have happen so i got to figure out how to clean that up a little bit first too so
