just wanted to share a little trick with you and closing up a zip when youre putting together a whole bunch of zips you know you can buy them in one piece and thats probably the cheapest way to get a a zip you know you know the length so you go and buy a in this case 600 mil long zip but you never really know how many zips you will need of that length so the normal way of doing it is to make up your own so when youre making up a zip youve got two youve got an open end youve got a closed end so what im doing is im putting a uh a bit of the um the torna cover material on one end to create a stopper on the other end im using a bit of webbing um its just a little tougher so it wont it wont fail but when you put these hips together youll end up with the zip open like this but when you want to stitch it into your job you want the thing to be closed but youve already put the ends on so you cant like you slide slide this right up to the end you see how theyre hanging out like
