today Im starting a batch of Apache tears which is a type of obsidian and since obsidians kind of a tough Rock to Tumble I thought Id do a complete tutorial so if you want to Tumble some of your own youll know how to do it so heres my rough Rock [Applause] it doesnt look like too much right now its kind of got this whitish coating on it and you might think of obsidian as being black you can see some of these pieces are broken and you can see the black thats on the inside so these will be pure black rocks when they get done obsidian does come in other colors but I think the most common color is the black stuff so uh Apache tears are also known as moroccanite I think Im saying that right I just looked that up and uh moroccanite is another word for Apache tears Apache tears Uh current perlite which you might know as that stuff thats in potting soil thats how I know about at least Im a gardener and I have a bag of perlite in the other room theyre these little white pieces of
