In Google Drive, open your file. See version history. Note: You need Owner or Editor access to the file. Click a timestamp to see a previous version of the file.
Strikethrough Shortcut on Google Docs If you want to strikethrough text in a more efficient way, use the keyboard shortcut for it: On Mac, highlight your text and ⌘ + Shift + X.
To delete version history in Google Docs: Open the file you want to delete the version history for. Click File. Select Make A Copy. Keep the suggested file name and click Make A Copy. The new copy will now have no version history beyond the moment it was created.
At the top of the page, click Insert. To place text directly on the canvas as a shape, click Word Art. To place text inside a box or confined area, click Text Box and click where you want to put it.
On your computer, open a document, spreadsheet, or presentation. At the top, click File Version history. See version history. Choose the latest version. You can find who updated the file and their changes.
To use, select the text you want to apply an effect to and then select an effect from the Fun Text menu. Effects can be undone using the Google Docs undo button or Command/Control+Z.
Inserting Sum Using Special Characters In the File menu, select New Document. In the Insert Menu, select Special characters. Select Symbol in the left-hand drop-down box, and then select Maths in the right-hand box. Click on the sum symbol to insert the symbol into the Google document.
Make sure to select your document mode There are three document mode views you can choose from in Google Docs: Editing, Suggesting and Viewing. Google Doc files automatically open in Editing mode if you have access to edit the document.
To remove a suggested edit, click the X (delete) icon in the suggestion box. This will reject the edit and permanently hide it from view. If you want to reject (and remove) all suggested edits from a Google Docs document at once, you can do so by clicking Tools Review Suggested Edits.
Viewing Activity If someone has been invited to view or edit the document, the Viewers tab will tell you the last time they opened it. You can also click All Viewers to see everyone from your organization who has viewed the document, whether they were invited or clicked a shareable link.
