So I uploaded a video recently where I compared the brand new M2 MacBook Pro against its predecessor, the M1 MacBook Pro. But during testing, I noticed a really weird issue with the SSD on the M2. It was nowhere near as fast as the M1. And this could have a massive impact on the performance of M2 MacBook Pro base models. So what could be the reason for this? Is it just Apple being greedy? Is it some secret plan to get you to spend more money on upgrades or was Apple forced to do this by external circumstances? Well, Im going to do a deep dive into this topic and see if we can figure it out. First things first, lets run some SSD speed tests to find out just how bad the M2 SSD is. Starting with Blackmagic Disk Speed Test, you can immediately see a massive difference in speeds. The M2 is roughly twice as slow in read speeds. On the AJA System Speed Test, but this time with the disk cache disabled, the write speeds seem about the same, but the read speeds, again, are docHubly worse

The anti-reflective coating, used to help cut out glare and make the display easier to see, is prone to wearing off due to pressure from the laptop's keys and trackpad or the use of cleaning solutions, ing to MacRumors.
Try removing the screen protector by gently lifting and prying it at the corners....Here's what to try: Turn your device off. Place a piece of duct tape on the corner of the screen protector. Gently pull the tape upward and towards you to remove the protector.

Apple offered a matte option on the previous generation MacBook Pro, but both the base MacBook and the Air came with glossy screens standard. With the new MacBook and MacBook Pro Apple switched to a thin glass covering in front of the display, giving the system a more updated look.
In our testing, the M2 has an 18 percent faster CPU than the M1. The new chip doesn't just mean that the new Macs can accomplish more though, they use less power doing so: Apple promises an increased CPU performance of 18 percent with the same energy consumption thanks to various optimizations.
Apple made the bezels on the laptop super thin in an effort to provide the user as much screen space as possible. But there is a module that cuts into the screen to house the 1080p FaceTime camera, thus the notch.
This is especially true for those who are using Apple's all-new Liquid Retina XDR displays found on the 14-inch and 16-inch 2021 MacBook Pro models. These displays are equipped with a “custom antireflective coating”, which helps cut down on any reflections that would be more prevalent on older models.
The easiest way to tell is by looking at the front of the screen (powered off). If you see your own reflection, as in a dark-coated mirror, the screen is glossy; and if al you see is plain shade – the screen has a matte finish.
About the notch However, instead of a large bezel at the top of the screen, Apple extended the display upwards. This leaves a small cutout in the middle to house the webcam and True Tone sensor. The result is the notch. The truth is that, overall, you're getting more screen space, not less.
