When converting data like this so that it goes into its own columns you got to be a little bit careful about things like this, the bank account number, for one you dont want to lose these leading zeroes and for another just for now notice that the first ones got a 9 and were going to see a problem with that later with very large numbers so if I want to convert this into its own columns. I highlight it, data, text to columns, its delimited. I can see it is using an upward line so that looks fine. If I click finish, so it seems to have worked except notice the bank accounts seem to have some strange formatting. Im just going to change it, were going to say make it a number. When you look now this bank account number, its missing, there should be a leading zero here and even worse it ended 119. Now Excel, because this numbers so big and its treating it as a number, it just cannot handle a number that big so anything after this one will become a zer

Data tables are presented in Comma Delimited, CSV text file format. Although this file format allows for the data table to be easily retrieved into a variety of applications, they are best viewed within one that will allow one to easily manipulate data that is in columnar format.
The files are easily editable using common spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel. Fields are separated by commas. Records are separated with system end of line characters, CRLF (ASCII 13 Dec or 0D Hex and ASCII 10 Dec or 0A Hex respectively) for Windows, LF for Unix, and CR for Mac.
A CSV (comma-separated values) file is a text file in which information is separated by commas. From an Excel spreadsheet Open your Excel document and click on the File tab. Change the File Format to either Text (Tab delimited) or CSV (Comma delimited).
New Line Characters Windows standard CR+LF or Unix-like systems (Linux, Mac) standard LF may be used as new line character.
A CSV (comma-separated values) file is a text file that has a specific format which allows data to be saved in a table structured format.
DAT data, there must be an EOF character (EOF = End Of File). Most editors do this automatically and these characters are essential.
CR and LF are control characters or bytecode that can be used to mark a line break in a text file. CR = Carriage Return ( \r , 0x0D in hexadecimal, 13 in decimal) moves the cursor to the beginning of the line without advancing to the next line.
Solution 1 Click File and Save As. In the new popup that displays, select ANSI from the Encoding field. Click Save. Now, you should be able to open the file in Excel and display the characters correctly.
Follow these steps to properly display accented characters in Excel: Save exported data as a CSV file. Open a new Excel sheet and click the Data tab. Choose From Text located in the toolbar and choose the CSV file you saved. Excel will open Text Import Wizard: Select Comma as Delimiter and click Finish.
The rules for data which it understands are as follows: Each row must have the same number of comma-separated fields. Whitespace (space or tab) adjacent to a comma is ignored. Adjacent commas, or a comma at the start or end of a line (whitespace apart) indicates a null field.
