hello again its Beth and today Im gonna show you a couple of pretty easy ways to make weekend banners in pages I have here the ones that were going to make today and Im going to show you how to do them and if youve been watching my tutorials so far some of this will be very familiar were were going to do some similar techniques to other things weve done so it shouldnt be terribly difficult alright lets start with this first one up here this is pretty simple I have two hearts which you can find in the shapes I have a line that goes all the way across the back I have a table to make these boxes and I have separate text boxes for the letters and Ill show you why I did that momentarily so lets start with lets actually start with a line because the line is going to help us decide the size of everything so you can measure your own planer and see you know if you want it to go across two days or three days and how wide that is in your planner Im gonna do it three inches first of

Manual fix Click the Text Box Tools Format tab, and then click Hyphenation. In the Hyphenation dialog box, clear the Automatically hyphenate this story check box. Delete any hyphens that remain in your text.
Create a list Click where you want your list to begin, then type a bullet (Option-8), letter, or number before the first item. Press Return. To change the indentation level (hierarchy) of an item in the list, do either of the following: Press Return twice, or press Delete, to end the list.
Pages detects when youre typing a list and adds some basic formatting as you type. In your document, place the insertion point where you want the list to begin. Type a dash, a bullet (Option-8), or a letter or number followed by a period and a space (such as 1. or A. Type the first item in your list, then press Return.
