morning guys justin back with an engineers perspective and today uh doing once again kind of an impromptu video here what im sharpening my wifes kitchen knife its a richmond artifact 2 and cts bd1n at 63 rockwell and decided to experiment with the can onion again um you know like i like the can onion as a tool for angle changes and for knives that i just dont enjoy sharpening but i have experimented a lot with it trying to develop a method that gives me the results that i like and so um im just going to take some best test numbers for my learning and i figured id include you guys on the ride this thing is clamped to the table so im not going to move it so i did the x65 so kept the same angle at 16 degrees per side plus one and a quarter for the the the grind so technically its 17 and a quarter degree per side edge x65 x 22 x5 get about four passes per side this still has a burr its supposed to have a burr so i just want to see the number here should be over 150 205. so its g
