Fill Forms in Word Click the File menus Open command, then navigate to and click the document containing the form you need to fill in. Click the Insert menu, then click the Text Box button.
Saving and Using a Form Press F12. Word displays the Save As dialog box. Using the Save As Type drop-down list, select Word Template. If necessary, change to the directory where the template is to be stored. In the File Name field, enter the name under which you want this template saved. Click on Save.
Import a file. Start at forms.office.com. Select Quick Import Upload from this device. Select a Word or PDF form or quiz on your hard drive.
Restrict Editing Click Review Protect Restrict Editing. Under Editing restrictions, select Allow only this type of editing in the document, and make sure the list says No changes (Read only). Select Yes, Start Enforcing Protection.
In the Add-ons drop-down menu, along the top toolbar, you will see the option to Create Form from doc. If you are not seeing this option in the list that appears, make sure to revisit the Google Workspace Marketplace to make sure that the add-on has been installed to your browser.
