Got questions?

Below are some common questions from our customers that may provide you with the answer you're looking for. If you can't find an answer to your question, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Lets assume that your Form has two fields - Name and Email Address - that you would like to pre-fill through URL parameters. To add a form field to the URL, we add a question mark ? after the form URL, then add the form field name, followed by an equal size = and the pre-filled value.
To add a query string to your forms URL: Start with a question mark (?) then add the field name in lowercase. Add an equal sign (=) then the value you would like the field to be populated with. If there is more than one field you would like to be auto-filled then add an ampersand () and repeat: ?
Prepopulating Form Fields via URL Parameters First, you need to get to the form editor page. Click on a field, and add a valid alias id from the side menu containing the field data. The id should contain English letters and numbers with no space or other characters except underscore.
To set it up, follow these steps: Create an API User. First you will want to create a new API Access account. Give the User Site Permissions. Then add this user to a protected site on your account. Create your Emdedded URL. Copy the url for the site and add on the authentication parameters. Use the URL elsewhere.
The website login URL is a link you use to access your websites backend and make site changes.
The data is appended to the URL as a series of name/value pairs. After the URL web address has ended, we include a question mark ( ? ) followed by the name/value pairs, each one separated by an ampersand ( ). In this case, we are passing two pieces of data to the server: say , which has a value of Hi.
You can send respondents a form with some fields already filled in. Open a form in Google Forms. In the top right, click More . Choose Get pre-filled link. Fill in any answer fields you want to pre-populate. Click Get link. To send the pre-populated form to respondents, copy and send the link at the top.
