The meaning of . ODT abbreviation is Open Document Text . ODT is part of the Open Document Format (ODF), which was created to store data for OpenOffice systems.
You can open and save files in the OpenDocument Text (. odt) file format used by some word processing applications.
Open an OpenDocument Format file in Office for iPhone or iPad Tap Open. Choose the location where your OpenDocument Format file is saved, like OneDrive, SharePoint, DropBox, or your iPhone or iPad. Tap on the OpenDocument Format file to open it.
