Insert special characters On your computer, open Google Docs or Slides. Open or create a document or presentation. At the top, click Insert. Find the character you want to insert: To add a character to your file, click it.
For accented vowels, press Ctrl + , then the vowel you want to accent. For the Spanish , press Ctrl + ~, then the n key.
Insert a Special Character Google Docs offers a Special Character feature that allows you to insert symbols, arrows, emojis, and more. This feature also provides letters with accent marks. Go to the spot in your document where you want to add the accented letter. Then select Insert Special Characters from the menu.
How to insert a text box in Google Docs Select Insert in the top left menu. Choose Drawing Choose the first option, + New Once youre in the separate Draw workspace, hit Text box, drag to your desired size and type. Hit Save and Close and watch as the text box appears in the document.
From Google Docs, go to Insert Special characters. Or, visit Google Input Tools and select Special Characters from the right side. You have three options here: search for the letter, refine the menu options, or draw the accented letter.
Press Control + `, then the letter to add a grave accent. Hold the Control key down, then tap the accent key near the top left corner of your keypad. Release the keys. Then select the desired letter to accent.
