hi everyone david kessler here and welcome back to the studio today i want to touch on different ways to create texture in your paintings if youamp;#39;re an acrylic painter several different ways and theyamp;#39;re very simple for me i donamp;#39;t use a whole lot of texture in my work i use a combination of really thick gesso over all of my canvases and paper that i use it creates a nice sort of a background texture and i put it on there really thick so i have low areas and ridges and all sorts of things for the paint to go over I only use you know and this is the Utrecht does not pay me for this endorsement but the professional acrylic gesso from Utrecht I found to be absolutely without question the best just so out there itamp;#39;s thick and creamy and beautiful it has a lot of titanium in it so itamp;#39;s very white so if you like suggest so you want to use just soap to make texture easy to do that you just scoop a little bit out you know you can you can put out there with

To add a fill or effect, click your shape, click Format, click the arrow next to Shape Fill or Shape Effects, and select a color, gradient, texture, or effect.
A texture fill is a randomly generated fill that you can use to give your objects a natural appearance. You can use existing texture fills, such as water, minerals, and clouds. You can change the colors of a texture fill.
Add or change a background image or watermark Go to Design or Layout, and select Watermark. Select Picture Select Picture, browse through your image files, and choose the image that you want to use. Select Insert. If you want the background image to show with full color intensity, clear the Washout check box.
Applying texture fills Select an object. Click Object Object properties. In the Fill area of the Object properties docker, click the flyout arrow on the Two-color pattern fill button , and click the Texture fill button to display texture fill options.
