Simply follow these steps: Select the cell or cells that you want to format. Make sure the Layout tab of the ribbon is displayed. Click the Properties tool in the Table group. Select the Cell tab. Click on the Options button. Make sure the Fit Text check box is selected. Click on OK to close the Cell Options dialog box.

On the Format menu, point to AutoFit Text, and do one of the following: To reduce the point size of text until there is no text in overflow, click Shrink Text On Overflow. To shrink or expand text to fit in the text box when you resize the box, click Best Fit.
Position the insertion point where you want the text that will be entered by the user to appear. Choose Insert Field. In the Field names list, choose Fill-in. In the Field Properties Prompt box, enter the text you want to appear to prompt the user for input.
Editing in a text box Double click the text box. In Drawing (Preview), select the text box to place your cursor and edit text. When finished select Save and Close to view updated text box.
