in this video Im going to show you how you can fill your text with a pattern using Inkscape if you have Cricut design space you can do that there by uploading a pattern but then you have to have a font that has a outline layer or a find a font that has two layers that you can slice and make an outline um I find it easier of course I do to do it in Inkscape so Ive already gone to google and downloaded a image of a chevron pattern so once you have your pattern then we can get started so we need to trace this so go to path with it selected go to path trace bitmap and yours will come in looking like this I uncheck smooth unchecked stacked scans and check remove background you can click update you dont have to and click OK by clicking update the only thing that does is give you a preview here if yours is blinked but Ive already used this previous to the video so thats why mine already showed ok then you can close that out and grab the image on the top thats going to be your path this
