hi in this video I going to demonstrate how you can make a line fill symbol for polygon features in AR GIS I have here three layers in uh the table of content and I want to change the symbology for the conflicts uh extensions for 2005 I can do so by right clicking on the layer and selecting properties and that will open the layer properties dialog box now I Iamp;#39;m okay with having uh all of the conflict extensions as the same symbol so I can leave this as it is single symbol here and if I double click on the symbol here finding the edit symbol box here click on that again and here then from the type I could then select line fill symbol now I may want to have these in Red so let choose red I might like to have this in a particular angle so I could set in for instance 45 here and here I could also set the offset and the separation of it now as outline I could also set that I want a red outline of it for instance of the width set here already at one I can just accept that see how it
