hi in this video iamp;#39;m going to show you how to turn off the microsoft word autocomplete feature also known as predictive text so what that does is when youamp;#39;re typing itamp;#39;ll kind of guess what youamp;#39;re trying to type and then give you some of its own suggestions and then you could go ahead and use that so if youamp;#39;re a gmail user youamp;#39;ll notice that they do that as well and some people like myself find it annoying because it kind of throws you off when youamp;#39;re trying to type so weamp;#39;ll see if i can make it do it here and show you what iamp;#39;m talking about see how it does that now you can press tab to have it finish like that so you know you could either keep typing and you know finish it yourself over like i said hit tab but some people donamp;#39;t like that because you know if if i didnamp;#39;t want to type suggestions i was trying to attempt something else then that might mess me up you know in my spelling so uh so

In Windows Settings, select Devices. In the left navigation pane, select Typing. Under Hardware keyboard, turn on Show text suggestions as I type. This enables text suggestions when youre typing on a physical keyboard.
Android: Open your devices Settings. Scroll down to the bottom and select System, then tap on Languages input. After that, tap on Virtual Keyboards. Select Gboard(or your active keyboard) on the list. Tap on text correction. Now toggle off Next-word suggestions (or Predictive text) to disable the feature.
To use the autofill feature, you can follow these four steps: Choose your text. Select the text that you want to turn into an autofill suggestion by highlighting it. Navigate to the AutoText menu. There are several ways to navigate to the AutoText menu. Create a new building block. Use your new AutoText entry.
Google Chrome Click the Chrome menu icon (the 3 vertical dots in the top right of your screen) Click on Settings. On the left-hand menu, click to open Autofill and expand the area where you want to disable the autofill, for example, Passwords, Addresses, Payments. Set the toggle control to the OFF position.
Select the Settings cog and click on See all settings. Under the General tab, scroll down to Smart Compose and select Writing suggestions off.
Turn off text predictions On the status bar, choose Text Predictions: On. Switch off Show text predictions while typing.
Type a word. At the top of the keyboard, youll see suggestions: If you see the word you want, tap it. If you dont like a suggested word, touch and hold it, and then drag the word to Trash.
Turn on Smart Compose suggestions (US only, English only) On your Android phone or tablet, open any app that you can type with, like Gmail or Keep. Tap an area where you can enter text. At the top of your keyboard, tap Open features menu . Tap More Settings. In the Suggestions section, turn on Smart Compose.
