Go to File Options. In the General tab, youll see the options for PowerPoint Designer. There are a couple of choices for you: If you want to automatically show design ideas every time you click on Design Ideas, then you should tick the option that says Automatically show me design ideas.
To do this, follow these steps: Open the original version of the PowerPoint presentation that you saved on your computer. Click PowerPoints Review tab on the Ribbon, and then click Compare in the Compare group.
On the Design tab, in Customize, click Format Background. Click Fill, and then click the Solid, Gradient, Picture or Texture, or Pattern option.
To add a fill or effect, click your shape, click Format, click the arrow next to Shape Fill or Shape Effects, and select a color, gradient, texture, or effect. Click the shape that you want to fill.
