Hey everyone! In this video Iamp;#39;m going to be shooting some Tri-X 400 that I bulk loaded myself. Iamp;#39;m also going to be shooting on my Olympus Om-1. Iamp;#39;m also going to be shooting on the 50 millimeter Zuiko lens. Oh, and welcome to amp;#39;Shots Upamp;#39;. Today weamp;#39;ll be exploring Hollywood Boulevard. I chose this location for this winter to kind of go back to a couple times and explore. And I chose this location because I really donamp;#39;t like this neighborhood and I wanted to see if I could capture that on film, or figure out why I feel this way about this neighborhood. It could be all the clutter, could be all the tourist attractions, it could be all the spectacle. Whoamp;#39;s to say? Whoamp;#39;s to say? It could be the smell of marijuana in the air all the time. Itamp;#39;s, itamp;#39;s a lot. A lot of characters. A lot of whatamp;#39;s happening? Like this van doing this stupid turn in front of me. I mean itamp;#39;s so many things. But um

In their descriptions and interactions, Steinbeck shows the mens relationship: George takes care of Lennie, who is childlike and mentally handicapped, constantly giving him advice and instructions: Dont say anything tomorrow when we get to the ranch; come back here if there is any trouble; dont drink the water
Although the book was very well-received, censorship challenges began to be recorded in the 1950s. Early on, most censorship challenges had to do with the use of profanity. In 1953, Of Mice and Men was banned in Ireland. Then, in the 1970s, it was banned in a handful of cities around the United States.
Lennies last words are about the farm that he dreams of owning with George Milton: Les do it now. Les get that place now.
Georges first words, a stern warning to Lennie not to drink so much lest he get sick, set the tone of their relationship.
The first line in Of Mice and Men is ,A few miles south of Soledad, the Salinas River drops in close to the hillside bank and runs deep and green. The line sets the scene for the action that is about to take place as George and Lennie set up camp for the night.
George tells Lennie, with Candy overhearing them, more about the place they will have. Lennie likes listening to George tell about their future, and George enjoys picturing it. It gives him hope and helps him keep working toward the dream when things get difficult.
The description includes: kewpie doll lamp, phonograph, rag rug, and flop. These allusions are specific to the historical and cultural situations established in the book. These specific references in this context are being used to describe a brothel or a place men can go to have relations with women.
Before George shoots Lennie, he tells him to look out over the river and picture the farm theyre going to have. George goes on to describe the farm and tells him that he will tend to the rabbits and that everybody will be nice to him and assures him that hes not mad at him for what he did.
