With Slugline, even your screenplays title page is expressed in plain text. To create one, choose Format Add Title Page.
Start by positioning your actual title in the center of the page, both vertically and horizontally and adhere to the industry standard of 12-point Courier font to maintain a professional look. Just below your title, still centered, insert by or Written by followed by your name on a new line below it.
How do I print out character sides? Go to File Print and from the Character Sides Character Name dropdown menu, choose the character whose sides you want to print; Check or leave unchecked the box to include that characters name at the top of the pages; Click Print.
Open the title page by clicking on the Title Page icon in the Ribbon (Windows) or the Toolbar (Mac) or choosing Document Title Page; Type your information in over the existing sample text; Go to File Close.
Windows: Go to File Print and make sure there is a check in the Include Title Page box. Click OK and the script will print out with the title page.
You can save your Final Draft file as an RTF file, then open it in the other program. Go to File Export; Under Save As Type dropdown on Windows or the Format dropdown on Mac, choose RTF or Rich Text Format.
Front and Center on Your Screenplay Title Page: First things first, the TITLE of your screenplay! The actual title should be written in ALL capital letters. Next up, the BY-LINE. Last, but certainly not least for this section: AUTHORS NAME(S). ADDITIONAL CREDITS beneath the Authors Name(s).
Creating Script Sides Guide To get started, open the script file (FDX or PDF) within Studio+. Click the contextual menu icon on the right side and select Create Script Sides. Continue through prompts to generate and distribute sides. 2. Select the scenes you wish to use for your script side by clicking each page.
