So lets take a look at what Google says about this feature. Were launching SmartFill for Google Sheets, which detects and learns patterns between columns to intelligently are to complete data entry. This sounds a lot like Excels FlashFill. It tries to find a pattern and he tries to apply that pattern to the column you want to fill. I prepared some examples for you. The nroff and troff commands format text for printing by interspersing the text with control sequences. Control sequences are either control line requests or escape requests that control text processing by the printing device.
Nroff, or new roff, is a Unix OS text-formatting program that produces output for terminal windows and fixed-width printers. It is used to format manual pages and is an integral Unix help system component.
Nroff is designed to format output for line printers and letter-quality printers; you can also display the output on your screen. Troff is designed for typesetting. Except for some functions that are specific to typesetting, the same commands work for both programs.
Description. The device-independent troff file format outputs a pure ASCII description of a typeset document. The description specifies the typesetting device, the fonts, and the point sizes of characters to be used, as well as the position of each character on the page.
groff (GNU roff) is a typesetting system that reads plain text input files that include formatting commands to produce output in PostScript, PDF, HTML, or DVI formats or for display to a terminal. Formatting commands can be low-level typesetting primitives, macros from a supplied package, or user-defined macros.
The nroff and troff commands format text for printing by interspersing the text with control sequences. Control sequences are either control line requests or escape requests that control text processing by the printing device.
While troff has been supplanted by other programs such as Interleaf, FrameMaker, and LaTeX, it is still being used quite extensively. It remains the default formatter for the UNIX documentation. The software was reimplemented as groff for the GNU system beginning in 1990.
A reimplementation and extension of the typesetter from ATT Unix, groff is present on most POSIX systems owing to its long association with Unix manuals (including man pages).
Description. The troff command reads one or more files and formats the text for printing on a phototypesetter or comparable device. A postprocessor is then required to post process the output of the troff command to the target device.
troff features commands to designate fonts, spacing, paragraphs, margins, footnotes and more. Unlike many other text formatters, troff can position characters arbitrarily on a page, even overlapping them, and has a fully programmable input language.
