Note: Some shapes such as lines, connectors, and some freeform drawings, have no room for text. While you cant add text to the shape, you can place it near the shape. Just add a text box, place it close to the shape, and then type your text in the text box.
Stroke and Fill Color Tap to select the shape, then tap on the style menu to select Stroke and Fill.
Choose the Filled Stroke tool. In the Layers menu, tap+hold the Fill layer to select it, and drag it downward so its sitting right below the ink layer. Fill in your shape.
