hey there this is crystal and weamp;#39;re filling in shapes and PowerPoint anytime you insert a shape into PowerPoint you donamp;#39;t just have to take that default color you can change it to any color that youamp;#39;d like so here I am in PowerPoint and Iamp;#39;ve inserted this arrow shape right here big part youamp;#39;ve got to select it once youamp;#39;ve selected it in the ribbon thereamp;#39;s a new contextual tab that becomes available drawing tools I click on format and now I can go to the shapes Styles group and I can just click on the drop-down arrow and choose any one of these preset Styles ing to this PowerPoint template these are the ones at least I first have available to choose from I get a nice little preview for it now even if Iamp;#39;ve chosen that one I can actually go to the shape fill and choose any other color that I want so there you go filling in shapes in PowerPoint this is crystal see you soon

Select the object using the Selection tool or the Direct Selection tool . Click the Fill and Stroke tool in the toolbar, the Properties panel, the Control panel or the Color panel. Double-click Fill for object fill and Stroke for outline.
Add text to an AutoShape On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Shapes, and then click the shape that you want. Drag to create the shape. The shape is automatically selected. On the Drawing Tools tab, in the Insert Shapes group, click Edit Text. Type the text that you want.
Right-click the shape that you want to add a pattern fill to and select Format Shape. In the Format Shape pane, click Fill, and then click Pattern Fill. Select a pattern, and if you like, click the arrows next to Foreground and Background and select a color combination.

Fit text in a shape Right-click the shape that contains the text that does not fit. On the shortcut menu, click Format AutoShape. In the Format AutoShape dialog, click the Text Box tab. Under Text autofitting, select the option you want.
Click anywhere in the text. On the Format menu, point to AutoFit Text, and do one of the following: To reduce the point size of text until there is no text in overflow, click Shrink Text On Overflow. To shrink or expand text to fit in the text box when you resize the box, click Best Fit.
Convert text to shapes Select your text box to convert text into shapes and click Create Outlines from Text at the bottom of the Text section of the Style Tab. This will allow you to edit the text like any other vector path. to convert your selected text into vector shapes.
