Iamp;#39;m going to demo this using this illustration, but you can totally use these same steps for text or whatever else you need. Now, the only thing you want to make sure is that no matter what they are, the shapes that you want to add shadows to are all either in one on group or on the same layer. And real quick here, if youamp;#39;re not sure how to create a group in Procreate, itamp;#39;s very easy, you just go in your Layers panel and select any layer you want to group, so in my case, I already have all my groups, but letamp;#39;s say I just create two random layers here. You can then swipe the layers with one finger towards the right to select multiple, and then you just have the Group option that appears here at the top, so you can just tap on Group, which is going to create a group. Select the picture, AutoShape, WordArt, or text box that you want to change. On the Format tab, click Text Effects or Shape Effects Shadow. To add a shadow, click the shadow style you want. To remove a shadow, click No Shadow.

Heres a way to create a cast shadow in InDesign: Control click (or click on the right button of your mouse) to open the contextual menu over the image you just pasted and choose Convert Clipping Path to Frame.
