hello and welcome to a new oxygen xml webinar my name is george pina and i will host todayamp;#39;s webinar and i invited my colleague julian lakur to present today about customizing or fine-tuning data pdf output using css one of the main publishing challenges related to pdf customization which is known to be really difficult is that when you try to customize pdf output using the classic letamp;#39;s say xslt xslfo approach not only that you need to know the technology both xslt and xslfo but you also need to know a lot about the specific application that you try to customize how that was designed how that took into account uh you know future customization and in this context uh a new approach started to be used more and more and that is to use css to style the pdf output and we at the oxygen xml editor try to help with this first by providing an engine that allows to obtain pdf based on css called oxygen pdf chemistry and some additional support in particular for data pdf output so
