the fill and stroke color tool allows you to add a line color or a fill color to your pattern to add a line or stroke color select your pattern or an individual line and doubleclick the stroke color tool this will bring up the Color Picker dialogue box you can either select a color from the chart or Define a color for your line using either the HSB RGB or CMYK inputs you can even Define a hexad decimal color enter your color values and click okay to add a fill color to your pattern or object doubleclick The Fill color tool add your color in the same way as before and click okay to remove a line color or fill color select the pattern or line click the specific tool and click the white box with red strike through this will remove its color the keyboard shortcut for fill and stroke color is X press X to cycle through the two tools
