The command you need is: \footnote{text} . Do not leave a space between the command and the word where you wish the footnote marker to appear, otherwise LaTeX will process that space and will leave the output not looking as intended. Creating a footnote is easy. \footnote{An example footnote.}
Its really easy, just add the \caption{Some caption} and inside the braces write the text to be shown. The placement of the caption depends on where you place the command; if its above the \includegraphics then the caption will be on top of it, if its below then the caption will also be set below the figure.
In LaTeX, you can use the % (percent sign) to comment out a line of text in your source code. If youd like to include comments that appear in the PDF of your project, you can use the todonotes package. Tags: guides.
TXT files can be opened with the built-in Notepad program in Windows by right-clicking the file and choosing Edit. Similar for TextEdit on a Mac. Another free program that can open any text file is Notepad++. Once installed, you can right-click the file and choose Edit with Notepad++.
Firstly, locate the end table command in your Latex code. After this, include the following command: \begin{minipage}{length}. The minipage command allows you to create a small box under the table, where you can insert your notes. The length parameter specifies the size of this box.
Summary of the procedure Firstly, locate the end table command in your Latex code. Next, add your notes. To add horizontal lines between your table and notes, use the command \hline. Lastly, if you want to add a second horizontal line, you can simply use the \hline command again.
Annotating images in LaTeX can be achieved by different methods and the basic idea is the same: Include the image in the document; Add axes over the image for positioning. add details such as text, arrows and shapes. Remove the axes and Voil!
You can insert a footnote marker using the \verb|\footnotemark|\footnotemark{} command and later, when youre ready, typeset the footnote text by writing \verb|\footnotetext{Heres the footnote.} |. \footnotetext{Heres the footnote.}
