hello this is Brett from survival comms in in the past Ive showed you how to splice 450 and window line with a set a euro blocks just like this is a temporary measure well today Im going to go ahead and make this a permanent connection so were going to break down our temporary connection with a screw driver here okay after weve removed our connectors you can see where we have had some corrosion already come up on here and what were going to do is were going to make a mechanical connection and then were going to solder this so what I do for a mechanical connection is always take a blue ring connector I remove the insulation from it and then I just remove the ring from it look just go ahead and put it on one side of my feed line like that and the other side in like that bear them up against each other then go ahead and make my crown just like that now I just put some flux on it apply solder just like this making that a very good electrical connection now that Ive flooded the con
