hey guys got another tech question here so basically theyre asking have I ever which means can you write use a speedlight or you know waiting kind of layer in an umbrella in place of a reflector when Im using an octagon so its interesting that they very specifically called up pieces of equipment and I think this is really telling right of how we learn we look at something were like oh Ive used this thing so I know kind of what it does so thats what I want use my point of reference but all thats for this by saying number one yes if you use a well that would be an active fill right versus I guess a passive fill so if using a reflector thats kind of passive right theres no light being emitted by the reflector its only a reflecting back light that youre putting into it a an active fill is something that is you know got a light inside of it the advantage of an active fill is that you have a lot more control right I can really tweak it a lot the disadvantage of course is that you
