Here are the steps to make labels in Microsoft Word: Open Microsoft Word. Find the Mailings tab on the top menu bar and click it. Click on the Labels button. Next, hit the Options button to customize various aspects of the labels. Now type your label content directly into each label cell.
You can also click on the Mailings tab at the top of the screen. Click Start Mail Merge, then Labels, then select Avery US Letter in the drop-down menu next to Label Vendors. Next select your Avery product number and click OK.
Create your address labels In Word, click Mailings Start Mail Merge Step-by-Step Mail Merge Wizard to start the mail merge wizard. Choose Labels, and then click Next: Starting document. Choose Label options, select your label vendor and product number, and then click OK. Click Next: Select recipients.
From the Insert menu, locate the submenu called Text. Here, theres a menu called Quick Parts. Select this dropdown menu, followed by AutoText. Finally, click on Save Selection to AutoText Gallery. Another way to open the AutoText menu is to press the Alt and F3 keys simultaneously.
Create a Label Click the Mailings tab. Click the Labels button. Enter an address. If you want to print only one label, select Single label in the Print box and specify the row and column where the label is located on the sheet.
Create and print labels Go to Mailings Labels. Select Options and choose a label vendor and product to use. Type an address or other information in the Address box (text only). To change the formatting, select the text, right-click, and make changes with Font or Paragraph. Select OK.
In a new document, select Mailings, then Labels. Choose Options and select Avery US Letter from the Label vendors list. Scroll to find your product number, click to select it and click OK. Type your information in the Address box near the top and then click on New Document to generate a full page of the same label.
Place the mouse where you want to put the fill-in form field. Click the Developer tab, then select Design Mode. Then, click the Content Control buttons to insert content controls like drop-down menus or a date picker. Click the Design Mode button again when youre finished to activate the form.
